Weddings at the Morris Arboretum & Gardens

Full Weddings
Your rental involves exclusive access to 92 breathtaking acres, a choice of five charming ceremony sites, a delightful open-air cocktail hour, and tented dinner and dancing under the glow of bistro lights. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when you arrive at 5 PM for photos. Festivities are 6 – 11 PM with a maximum capacity of 175 (155 with designated dancing area). Parking is included, along with ceremony chairs, tables and chairs for your reception, and three hours with a golf cart and driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. We have a variety of enhancements to upgrade your experience as well—we’d love to tell you all about it on a tour. Get in touch to schedule a visit with us!
Ceremonies Only
Your Ceremony Only rental involves private access to 92 breathtaking acres and a choice of five charming ceremony sites. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours from 6 – 8 PM for your ceremony and photos. Parking is included, along with ceremony chairs for up to sixty guests. Include our golf cart with five passenger seats as an upgrade if you’d like to access more of the grounds for photos. Reservations may be made up to six months in advance.
Micro Ceremonies
Micro Ceremonies allow up to fifteen people to gather in our beautiful gardens to spend time together celebrating your union and taking photos amongst the flowers and trees. These events do not allow for décor or refreshments, and may be booked up to three months in advance. Micro Ceremonies include 90 minutes of time, and you may add an additional half hour to maximize your photo session. These events are held during public hours before 3pm and may be scheduled year round. Please note, availability for Micro Ceremonies must be requested through our Rentals Team.

Open Dates
We update our PartySpace calendar regularly as we receive new hold requests and booking confirmations. Please check in regularly for the most up to date availability. Private weddings are after hours, evening events and may be held any day of the week April through October. With so much flexibility, we’re sure to have a date for you. Locations
From our spectacular Rose Garden to the treetop heights of Out on a Limb, we offer numerous locations for you to choose from to design your custom timeline through ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing. These unique spots are designated for event set up, and all 92 acres are open for fabulous photo opportunities.
Vendors
We have five exclusive catering vendors to choose from with a variety of price points, menus and wedding services to offer. We do not permit outside catering teams or any DIY refreshments. Our venue is BYO and our catering teams provide licensed bartenders along with their staff. We recommend checking them all out to see who’s the right fit for you!

What a beautiful venue! We were married at the beginning of May and all of the Magnolias and Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom. Perfect! We opted for the Out On A Limb cocktail hour, where the setting is in the treetops 40 feet above the ground and looking out over the grounds. Amazing! A fairy tale wedding location. Not your typical venue. Booking the Morris as our venue was one of the best wedding related decisions that we made. Looking at all the different venues in the area was an overwhelming experience, but when we arrived at the Morris we knew we found the place we would get married. The atmosphere was romantic and private. I especially liked getting married at the Morris because it provided a special and different experience for our guests. After our wedding, we kept receiving texts from our guests stating how the wedding and venue was unlike any of the other places they have been. My husband and I plan to go back and visit the spot we were married frequently and remember our special day together. That is something that cannot be done at the other chain-like venues. The Morris is a dream venue for a wedding. First, the staff is so responsive and easy to work with. The Arboretum offers a variety of grounds to hold the ceremony and cocktail hour with a beautiful tent reception. The front lawn and Out on a Limb are the perfect spaces. Not to mention, the entire Arboretum gives unlimited gorgeous backgrounds for a photo shoot. My guests are still raving that it was the best wedding they've ever attended.
